You aren’t going to the gym coz you are lazy.

You aren’t eating your veggies coz you are lazy.

Being lazy simply means fighting inertia. Let's revisit Newton's First Law:

A body remains at rest, or in motion at a constant speed in a straight line, unless acted upon by a force.

It is not really laziness but when something is not yet our habit, going against the current is hard. And we give up and do something else that's easier. Which is to continue going down the path of least resistance.

Let's ask a similar question but from another angle.

What are you doing in your life, coz you are lazy?

I stayed at my old job because I was lazy. I didn't write this blog for many years because I was lazy.

To get out of your comfort zone, to beat inertia - that's the key.

Ask yourself these two questions, and think about the answers you come up with.

I am going to leave you with two tweets from Naval Ravikant. If you don't know who he is, do look him up.

What you feel tells you nothing about the facts – it merely tells you something about your estimate of the facts.
A calm mind, a fit body, and a house full of love.
These things cannot be bought.
They must be earned.
